Maple is not a licensed asset manager and describes itself as a technology services provider. The interface is operated by Maple Labs Pty Ltd, an Australian entity. The syrup products are issued by Maple International Operations SPC, a Cayman Islands segregated portfolio company, with a MiCA whitepaper for EU distribution and US persons excluded from syrup products.
Entity structure
Maple Labs Pty Ltd develops the protocol and operates the interface. The syrupUSDC, syrupUSDT and syrupUSDG products are issued through Maple International Operations SPC with bankruptcy remote segregated portfolios. Governance and treasury run through the onchain MapleTreasury contract and the SYRUP token.
