Governance Rights
ControlIn November 2025 the Centrifuge DAO approved the the move of operational decision-making, strategy and execution into Centrifuge Labs, with governance and oversight from the Centrifuge Network Foundation Board. The DAO retains the right and ability to reassume governance or operational control in in the future if the community determines that a more decentralized structure is once again beneficial. Tokenholders retain ultimate control.
Governance Decisions
CFG holders can vote on proposals covering protocol upgrades, parameters, treasury use and fees. Currently, the Centrifuge Network Foundation handles day-to-day oversight & execution, and the DAO's active governance mechanisms are paused.
Treasury Decisions
The onchain treasury is controlled by governance. After CP171, the DAO approved asset transfers to the Centrifuge Foundation.
Revenue Decisions
DAO process governs fee structures and reveue deployment.
