Protocol Information
Quantillon is onchain FX-hedging infrastructure designed to connect DeFi's USD liquidity and yield sources with local-currency exposure. Its architecture combines dollar-denominated collateral, FX oracles and collateralized hedgers to manage the currency risk between the underlying assets and the exposure held by users. QEURO, its first deployment on Base, is a forex-backed token targeting the value of one euro. Users mint QEURO by depositing USDC and redeem it for USDC under the protocol's pricing, collateralization, liquidity and fee rules. Hedgers take the corresponding EUR/USD exposure and provide the collateralized hedging capacity that supports issuance. Users can also deposit QEURO into stQEURO vaults to access variable yield from external DeFi strategies
Methodology
TVL: Counts user and hedger USDC collateral tracked in QuantillonVault plus the current underlying USDC value of its external vault positions, including unharvested yield and losses. External vaults are discovered through stQEUROFactory and their adapter addresses are resolved at the queried block. Excludes QEURO, stQEURO, governance tokens, treasury balances and fee reserves.
