Notes
- EURe is a euro e-money token issued by Monerium EMI ehf., an EEA-licensed electronic money institution regulated in Iceland. Each EURe is 1:1 backed in segregated, unencumbered high-quality liquid assets and is unconditionally redeemable at par. Users mint and redeem via SEPA transfers between IBANs and self-custodied wallets. Issued under EU e-money rules and MiCA as an EMT. V2 contracts are live on Ethereum, Gnosis, Polygon, Arbitrum, Linea, and Scroll, with issuance also on Algorand and Noble (Cosmos). Deepest adoption is on Gnosis Chain, where EURe serves as the euro payments rail (e.g., Gnosis Pay). Holders receive no yield per e-money rules. The issuer retains reserve income. Legacy v1 contracts (ethereum:0x3231cb76718cdef2155fc47b5286d82e6eda273f and others) remain outstanding pending migration and are tracked under Coingecko ID monerium-eur-money.
