Monerium GBP e-money (GBPE) is a pound sterling e-money token issued by Monerium, an authorised electronic money institution in the European Economic Area. GBPE is pegged 1:1 to the British pound.

Minting and Redemption
GBPE is issued by Monerium. Monerium does not currently offer GBP IBANs to its customers, so GBPE cannot be minted directly by bank transfer. Users can obtain GBPE by swapping on Gnosis Chain, where a GBPe liquidity pool is live (for example via CoW Swap).
