ATH is the native utility token of Aethir. ATH pays for compute, rewards compute providers and Checker Node operators, and is staked for rewards & node collateral.
Governance Rights
ControlGovernance is not yet operational. Per the current docs, as Aethir "moves towards establishing its DAO," ATH holders are to be empowered to propose, discuss, and vote on platform changes. No live governance venue is currently published. An earlier docs version published detailed "Foundation Bylaws" describing a veATH/Council/Foundation Board structure. That page has since been removed.

Initially only Council members can submit proposals; 2 years post-launch, holders with >5% of circulating supply can propose directly.

Fee Switch
ONAethir captures revenue/margin on enterprise compute bookings. Exact protocol fee parameters aren't publicly disclosed.
Equity Statement
Aethir is a for-profit company, backed by VCs. Funding was raised through equity/token rounds plus ~$130M from a Checker Node license sale. The company captures enterprise compute revenue; a portion is recycled into ATH via the DAT. The precise split retained by the company vs. routed to the DAO/token holders is not publicly disclosed.
